The EC-Council Certified Security Specialist (ECSS) is an entry level program, and contains the fundamental knowledge required for a career in information security. The program prepares students to identify security threats and vulnerabilities which reflect on the organization’s security, implement general controls, and implement safe practices. This certification covers key areas of information security, computer forensics and network security including risk identification and mitigation processes as well as detection tools used in auditing attacks/risks.
This course will benefit students who are interested in learning the fundamentals of information security, network security, and computer forensics.
