Course Overview

In a network that cannot afford downtime, routing has to be both resilient and predictable. Traffic must take the intended path under normal conditions, switch quickly when a link fails and never fall into a loop when routes are shared between protocols. Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (300-410 ENARSI) gives engineers the knowledge to deliver that level of control.

The course starts with interior routing in depth. You will troubleshoot EIGRP neighbour relationships, stub routing and unequal-cost load balancing, and analyse OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 network types, special areas, router roles and virtual links. Each protocol is covered for both IPv4 and IPv6.

Path control is a major theme. You will learn how administrative distance, route maps, tags and summarisation shape the routing table, how mutual redistribution can be made safe, and how policy-based routing combined with IP SLA tracking steers traffic based on real conditions. BFD accelerates failure detection, while VRF-Lite separates traffic on shared infrastructure.

BGP is covered in detail for enterprise edge, and multi-provider designs require: neighbour states and timers, authentication, multihop peering, 4-byte AS numbers, attributes, best-path selection, route reflectors, and inbound and outbound policies.

For site connectivity, you will configure single-hub DMVPN with mGRE, NHRP, IPsec, and spoke-to-spoke tunnels, and study how MPLS and Layer 3 VPNs operate in provider networks.

The course closes with infrastructure security and services, including AAA, ACLs, uRPF, CoPP, IPv6 first-hop security, SNMPv3, logging, DHCP, NetFlow, and Cisco Catalyst Center Assurance. The result is practical, exam-aligned Cisco ENARSI training for engineers responsible for critical enterprise networks.

Course Objectives

  • Troubleshoot EIGRP and OSPFv2/v3 operation, including adjacencies, authentication, area and network types, metrics and path preference.
  • Analyse and correct routing behaviour using administrative distance, route maps, tagging, summarisation and loop-prevention mechanisms.
  • Implement safe redistribution between routing protocols and routing sources.
  • Configure policy-based routing and VRF-Lite, and describe how BFD improves convergence.
  • Troubleshoot iBGP and eBGP neighbours, path attributes, best-path selection, route reflectors and routing policies for IPv4 and IPv6.
  • Configure single-hub DMVPN with NHRP and IPsec, and describe MPLS operations and Layer 3 VPNs.
  • Troubleshoot router security and infrastructure services, including AAA, ACLs, uRPF, CoPP, SNMP, DHCP, IP SLA, and NetFlow.

Target Audience

  • Network engineers responsible for routed WAN, campus and data center networks.
  • Senior network administrators who manage multi-protocol and multi-site environments.
  • Infrastructure specialists and systems engineers who support services that depend on reliable routing.

Qatar’s financial institutions, transport systems, energy companies and government services depend on networks that route traffic predictably and recover from failures within seconds. Our Cisco ENARSI training in Qatar helps network engineers in Doha, Lusail, Al Wakrah and Ras Laffan build the advanced routing skills needed to run those high-availability environments. The 300-410 ENARSI course covers BGP path attributes and policies, EIGRP and OSPF troubleshooting, route redistribution and route maps, policy-based routing with IP SLA tracking, BFD, VRF-Lite, DMVPN with IPsec, MPLS Layer 3 VPN concepts, and router security with AAA, uRPF and Control Plane Policing. Mapped to the current 300-410 ENARSI v1.1 exam, this CCNP Enterprise training in Qatar is ideal for engineers who want to earn the Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation and, with ENCOR, complete CCNP Enterprise.

FAQs

What is Cisco ENARSI?

ENARSI stands for Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services. The course and its 300-410 exam focus on implementing and troubleshooting advanced routing, VPN services, infrastructure security, and infrastructure services in Cisco enterprise networks.

What are the main topic areas of the 300-410 exam?

The v1.1 blueprint has four domains: Layer 3 Technologies (35%), VPN Technologies (20%), Infrastructure Security (20%), and Infrastructure Services (25%).

What background knowledge do I need?

You should understand CCNA-level networking and have experience with routing, LAN implementation, and device security. Prior ENCOR training is recommended.

How long is the 300-410 ENARSI exam?

Cisco lists the 300-410 ENARSI v1.1 exam as a 90-minute exam. Exam registration is separate from the training course.

What happens after I pass ENARSI?

You earn the Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation. If you have also passed the 350-401 ENCOR exam, you achieve CCNP Enterprise.

Will this course help with multi-site WAN designs?

Yes. BGP policy, DMVPN, IPsec, VRF-Lite, policy-based routing, and MPLS VPN concepts are all directly relevant to connecting branches, data centers, and providers.

Which skills will I take back to my job?

A structured method for troubleshooting routing protocols, the ability to control path selection and redistribution safely, experience with secure VPN overlays, and practical use of monitoring tools such as IP SLA and NetFlow.

Does completing the course guarantee certification?

No. The course prepares you for the 300-410 exam, but certification depends on passing it, and CCNP Enterprise also requires the ENCOR core exam.
