Implementing Cisco Collaboration Core Technologies (CLCOR) v1.2
Implementing Cisco Collaboration Core Technologies (CLCOR) v1.2
Business communication now spans desk phones, softphones, video rooms, mobile devices and cloud meetings, and users expect every call and meeting to simply work. The Implementing and Operating Cisco Collaboration Core Technologies (CLCOR) course gives IT professionals the skills to design, deploy and run the Cisco collaboration platforms behind that experience, whether they sit on-premises, in the cloud or across both.
Version 2.0 of the course reflects how organisations run collaboration today, with content balanced between on-premises and cloud. The first part, CLCOR-OP, covers Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) clustering, LDAP integration, device provisioning, dial plans, globalised call routing, calling privileges, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Expressway, Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) and media resources on Cisco IOS XE. The second part, CLCOR-HC, moves to the Webex Suite, Webex Calling dial plans and PSTN options, Cloud Connected UC, migration to the Webex App, collaboration APIs, and Quality of Service (QoS) on Cisco Catalyst switches.
Throughout the course, learners work in hands-on labs that mirror real deployments, from provisioning endpoints and building route patterns to tracing SIP signalling and fixing poor call quality. Security runs through every topic, including certificates, single sign-on, OAuth, encrypted media, and toll fraud prevention.
CLCOR is the official preparation for Cisco exam 350-801. Passing it earns the Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Core credential and satisfies the core exam requirement for both CCNP Collaboration and CCIE Collaboration, making this course the foundation of every advanced Cisco collaboration career path.
Course objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Explain Cisco collaboration architecture and select on-premises, hybrid or cloud deployment models designed for high availability.
- Deploy and manage CUCM, including clustering, LDAP user synchronisation, device provisioning and role-based access control.
- Build dial plans with globalised call routing, calling privileges and toll fraud prevention for both CUCM and Webex Calling.
- Configure Cisco Unified Border Element, IOS XE voice gateways and media resources to connect users to external networks.
- Integrate Cisco Unity Connection for voicemail, message waiting indication, and automated call handling.
- Deploy Webex services and Cloud Connected UC, and migrate users from Cisco Jabber to the Webex App.
- Apply QoS classification, marking, and queuing, and troubleshoot signalling and media issues with confidence for the 350-801 exam.

Request More InformationOrganisations in Saudi Arabia that are adopting hybrid work often build a complete collaboration skills path around the CLCOR course. Engineers who manage cloud calling day to day benefit from dedicated Webex Calling training, while those planning larger hybrid deployments can progress to Implementing Cisco Collaboration Hybrid and Cloud Technologies (CLHCT), the concentration that builds directly on CLCOR’s cloud content. Teams responsible for customer engagement can extend their skills with Webex Contact Center training (CLCCE). Because every call and meeting depends on the underlying network, pairing Cisco collaboration training with enterprise networking courses such as ENCOR gives engineers a complete view of the infrastructure. FAQs
What is the CLCOR course?Does CLCOR cover Webex and cloud calling, or only on-premises CUCM?
Both. Since version 2.0, a large share of the course focuses on cloud and hybrid services, including Webex Calling, meetings, messaging, Control Hub, and Cloud Connected UC. The rest covers on-premises call control with CUCM and its supporting applications.
Is CLCOR relevant if my organisation supports hybrid or remote working?
Yes. The course teaches you to deliver a consistent calling and meeting experience across offices and remote locations, including secure edge access through Cisco Expressway and QoS that protects voice and video quality.
What background should I have before enrolling?
A solid grasp of IP networking and basic voice and video concepts is recommended, along with some familiarity with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid models. There is no formal prerequisite, but the CCNA, CLFNDU, and Webex Calling courses are useful preparation.
How does CLCOR fit into the CCNP Collaboration certification?
CLCOR prepares you for 350-801, the required core exam. To earn CCNP Collaboration, you also must pass one concentration exam: CLACC for advanced on-premises call control, CLHCT for hybrid and cloud technologies, or CLCCE for cloud customer experience.
How long does CCNP Collaboration stay valid?
CCNP Collaboration is valid for three years. You can renew it by passing qualifying exams or by earning Continuing Education credits, and each part of the CLCOR course carries 38 credits.
