Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (300-410 ENARSI)
Course Overview
When an organisation connects dozens of branches, data centers, and cloud platforms, routing stops being a simple matter of adding networks to a protocol. Engineers must decide which paths traffic should prefer, how routes move between protocols, and how to keep overlays secure. Implementing Cisco Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (300-410 ENARSI) gives them the depth to make those decisions with confidence.
Routing in depth. The course opens with the interior protocols most enterprises run. You will troubleshoot EIGRP named mode, feasible successors and stuck-in-active conditions, and work through OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 area types such as stub, totally stub and NSSA, along with ABR and ASBR behaviour.
Policy and path control. Next comes the toolkit for shaping routing: administrative distance, route maps with tagging and filtering, manual and automatic summarisation, mutual redistribution, policy-based routing and VRF-Lite. You will also see how BFD speeds up failure detection.
BGP for the enterprise. iBGP and eBGP neighbour relationships, multihop and 4-byte AS numbers, path attributes and best-path selection, route reflectors and inbound and outbound policies are covered for both IPv4 and IPv6.
Secure connectivity. DMVPN with mGRE, NHRP and IPsec connects sites dynamically, while MPLS and MPLS Layer 3 VPN concepts explain how many service provider WANs work.
Security and services. AAA with TACACS+ and RADIUS, ACLs, IPv6 traffic filters, uRPF, CoPP, and IPv6 first-hop security protect the infrastructure. DHCP, SNMP, logging, IP SLA, NetFlow, and Cisco Catalyst Center Assurance help you keep it healthy.
This Cisco ENARSI training follows the 300-410 ENARSI blueprint closely and applies directly to production enterprise networks.
Course Objectives
Participants will learn to:
- Diagnose and resolve EIGRP issues involving neighbour adjacencies, authentication, stub configuration, metrics, and equal or unequal-cost load balancing.
- Troubleshoot OSPFv2 and OSPFv3 network types, special areas, router roles, virtual links and route preference.
- Build and troubleshoot BGP peerings and apply attribute-based policies, route reflection and filtering for IPv4 and IPv6.
- Manage route exchange between protocols using redistribution, route maps, tagging, summarisation and loop-prevention techniques.
- Steer traffic using policy-based routing and segment it with VRF-Lite.
- Deploy single-hub DMVPN with spoke-to-spoke tunnels, and explain MPLS label switching and Layer 3 VPNs.
- Protect and operate routers using AAA, ACLs, uRPF, CoPP, SNMPv3, syslog, DHCP, IP SLA, and NetFlow.
Target Audience
- Network engineers responsible for routed WAN, campus and data center networks.
- Senior network administrators who manage multi-protocol and multi-site environments.
- Infrastructure specialists and systems engineers who support services that depend on reliable routing.
- Data center engineers working with VRF-Lite, BGP and route policies.
- NOC and IT operations professionals who diagnose outages and performance issues. •
- ENCOR candidates or certified professionals completing the CCNP Enterprise certification with the 300-410 concentration exam.

Request More InformationSaudi Arabia’s large-scale digital programmes, from new giga-projects to expanding bank, telecom and government networks, rely on enterprise routing that scales across many sites and providers. Our Cisco ENARSI training in Saudi Arabia helps network engineers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and across the Kingdom develop the advanced routing and troubleshooting skills these environments demand. The 300-410 ENARSI course covers EIGRP and OSPF troubleshooting, BGP path attributes, route reflectors and policies, route redistribution and route maps, VRF-Lite, DMVPN with NHRP and IPsec, MPLS Layer 3 VPN concepts, and router security with AAA, uRPF and CoPP. Aligned with the current 300-410 ENARSI v1.1 exam, this CCNP Enterprise training in Saudi Arabia prepares engineers for the concentration exam that, together with ENCOR, completes CCNP Enterprise and earns the Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation.
FAQs
What does the 300-410 ENARSI course cover?
It covers advanced Layer 3 routing (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, redistribution, and path control), VPN technologies (DMVPN and MPLS L3 VPN concepts), infrastructure security, and infrastructure services. It prepares learners for the 300-410 ENARSI exam.
Should I take ENCOR before ENARSI?
It is strongly recommended. ENCOR covers the core enterprise technologies, and ENARSI builds on them with more depth. Cisco does not set a formal order, but most candidates complete ENCOR first.
Is ENARSI focused on configuration or troubleshooting?
Both, with a strong lean towards troubleshooting. Most of the exam topics ask you to troubleshoot protocols and services rather than simply configure them.
Which BGP topics are included?
Neighbour relationships and authentication, next-hop and multihop behaviour, 4-byte and private AS numbers, peer groups, path attributes and best-path selection, route reflectors and inbound and outbound policies, for both IPv4 and IPv6.
What certification can I earn after this course?
The course does not award a certification by itself. Passing the 300-410 exam earns the Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation. Passing ENARSI together with the 350-401 ENCOR exam earns the CCNP Enterprise.
Does the course include MPLS?
Yes, at a descriptive level. You will learn how LSRs, LDP, label switching and LSPs work, and how MPLS Layer 3 VPNs separate customer traffic. Hands-on MPLS configuration is beyond the scope of the exam.
Which security features will I learn?
AAA with TACACS+, RADIUS and local databases; standard, extended and time-based ACLs; IPv6 traffic filters; uRPF; CoPP for management and routing protocols; and IPv6 first-hop security features such as RA guard and DHCP guard.
How can ENARSI training support my career?
It deepens the routing and troubleshooting expertise that senior networking roles require and prepares you for a recognised CCNP Enterprise exam. Results depend on your experience, practice and exam performance.
