FAQs
The primary objective of this workshop is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to design and implement business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies using Microsoft Azure. This includes ensuring data protection, application availability, and creating resilient cloud architectures.
Participants should have a basic understanding of Microsoft Azure, experience with cloud infrastructure, and familiarity with virtualization technologies. Prior experience with disaster recovery planning is beneficial but not required.
Module 1 focuses on a whiteboard design session where participants review a case study, design a proof of concept solution, and present their findings. This module emphasizes understanding real-world applications of BCDR principles.
In Module 2, participants engage in a hands-on lab to deploy Azure environments, configure BCDR services, set up environments for failover, and simulate failovers to test their solutions. This practical experience reinforces the concepts learned in Module 1 and ensures participants can apply BCDR strategies effectively.
Participants will receive comprehensive course materials, including case studies, design templates, lab guides, and access to Azure resources necessary for the hands-on lab.
