Course Overview
CounselTrain is committed to providing cutting-edge training solutions that empower professionals to thrive in cloud computing environments. Our 40533: Microsoft Cloud Workshop on OSS PaaS and DevOps offers a deep dive into implementing open-source software (OSS) on the Azure platform, leveraging Platform as a Service (PaaS), and integrating DevOps practices.
This workshop is structured into two integral modules. Module 1, the Whiteboard Design Session, fosters a collaborative learning environment. Participants begin with a customer case study to grasp real-world scenarios, design a proof of concept solution, and present their architecture. This phase allows learners to validate their approach and refine their understanding of implementing OSS on Azure.
Module 2, the Hands-on Lab, provides hands-on practical experience. Participants run starter applications, migrate databases to Cosmos DB, containerize apps, set up Web App for Containers, and configure CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. Additionally, learners create an Azure Function for order processing and a Logic App for sending SMS notifications. This comprehensive lab equips participants with skills that bridge development and operations, enhancing their ability to manage agile cloud environments effectively.
By completing this course, participants will gain the necessary skills to efficiently utilize OSS in Azure, enhance their DevOps strategies, and foster agile cloud environments. CounselTrain’s approach ensures that professionals acquire practical expertise that is immediately applicable in real-world scenarios, enabling them to drive innovation and efficiency in cloud-based solutions.
