The Linux Foundation’s mission is to enable mass innovation through open source. It does this by providing a neutral platform for collaboration, education, and innovation. The Linux Foundation hosts over 200 projects, including the Linux kernel, Kubernetes, and Hyperledger Fabric. It also offers a variety of educational resources, such as training courses and certifications.

The Linux Foundation’s membership includes over 1,000 organizations from around the world. These members range from individual developers to large corporations. The Linux Foundation’s membership gives them access to the organization’s resources and expertise, as well as the opportunity to participate in the development of open source projects.
